Flavor target

Hot Kirkland chipotle chicken (the real shortcut) split across two mini tortillas, finished with high-protein cilantro-jalapeño ranch for a cool, herby, gently spicy contrast against the smoky chicken. The ranch goes on last so it stays bright and doesn't cook down on the hot chicken.

Ingredients

Method

  1. 1
    REHEAT CHICKEN

Air-fry 4 oz fully cooked Kirkland chipotle chicken about 6 minutes, until hot and 165 F. Appliance settings vary — no temperature invented; use your air fryer's default reheat preset.

  2. 2
    DIVIDE THE CHICKEN

Lay out both La Banderita Carb Counter mini tortillas and divide the hot chicken evenly between them — about 2 oz per taco.

  3. 3
    ADD GREEN SAUCE

Add 1/2 tablespoon of high-protein cilantro-jalapeño ranch to each taco, straight over the hot chicken.

  4. 4
    FOLD + EAT

Fold each mini taco and eat immediately while the chicken is hot and the tortilla is soft.

Three keys to success

  1. 1REHEAT CHICKEN PER THE PACKAGE, TO 165 F. Do not invent a temperature — appliance settings vary. Use your air fryer's default reheat preset for about 6 min.
  2. 2TWO MINI TORTILLAS, NOT ONE CUT IN HALF. The filming used one larger tortilla cut into two rounds; the published recipe calls for two ready-made snack-size mini tortillas.
  3. 3SPLIT THE CHICKEN EVENLY. ~2 oz per taco. Under-fill drops the sandwich below the ~27g protein target.
