Nilla Bean Float Cookie Creami
CrumblCreamiCut Week 5, Flavor 2 — cola-float-inspired protein Creami with vanilla, black cocoa, 1/4 cup Diet Coke in the base, and salted-caramel CocoRolls through Respin + on top. 340 cal / 43g protein whole pint. Slightly icier than a standard base — honest review.
You want the cola-float protein Creami and you're OK with a slightly icier texture in exchange for the volume + float identity. Ep. 14 of CrumblCreamiCut and the second episode of Week 5. Same 1 cup Fairlife + whey + guar + salt foundation as the whole series; the twist is the 1/4 cup diet cola stirred into the base pre-freeze.

- Packaged labels vary — verify current whey isolate and salted caramel CocoRolls packages before publishing allergen or gluten free claims.
- CocoRolls contain coconut — flag if the reader has coconut sensitivity; not an FDA Big 8 allergen but relevant for many households.
- Do not apply a gluten free tag unless every packaged ingredient is confirmed on its current label.

First scoop: vanilla + black cocoa base with a hint of cola-caramel aroma. Middle: soft CocoRoll pockets from Respin. Top: crunchy salted-caramel finish. Reads like a cola float in whole-pint dessert form. Slightly icier than W5F1 — the cola volume is the honest trade.
Ingredients
CREAMI BASE
FLAVOR ADD-INS (blended into base pre-freeze)
MIX-IN (added after first spin, no liquid)
FINISH (added after Respin, stays out of the machine)
Method
- 1BLEND BASE
Combine Fairlife 2% milk + monk fruit + whey isolate + guar gum + salt + 1/2 tsp vanilla + 1 tbsp black cocoa + 1/4 cup Diet Coke. Immersion blender until completely smooth. Zero lumps.
- 2ADD BLACK COCOA
Black cocoa (1 tbsp) supplies the float-adjacent dark identity. Regular cocoa reads brown-brown; black cocoa reads cola-black — the color and flavor cue are both from this ingredient.
- 3ADD DIET COLA
1/4 cup diet cola stirred into the base pre-freeze. Volume goes up ~25% vs a standard base — the trade is a slightly icier texture. Any diet cola works; Diet Coke is what the creator filmed.
- 4POUR + FREEZE (24 HR)
Pour into a Creami pint, keeping the mixture below the max-fill line. Freeze upright and level for a full 24 hours.
- 5REST + SPIN
Pull the pint from the freezer, rest at ROOM TEMPERATURE for 5 minutes. Process on Regular Ice Cream. Powdery after the first spin is expected — the Respin fixes it.
- 6MIX-IN
Make a narrow center well. Drop in 1/2 serving of salted-caramel CocoRolls. Run RESPIN without adding liquid — the cola is already in the base.
- 7SCOOP
Scoop into a bowl. Volume will be noticeably taller than a standard pint — the cola quarter-cup shows up here.
- 8TOP + SERVE
Finish with another 1/4 serving of CocoRolls — added AFTER all machine processing so they stay crunchy. Eat immediately.
Three keys to success
- 1Level 1/8 tsp guar gum — heaped = gummy.
- 21 tbsp black cocoa, not regular cocoa. Black cocoa carries the cola-black identity; regular cocoa reads chocolate-brown and misses the float cue.
- 31/4 cup diet cola, no more. More cola bumps volume further AND ices the pint harder. Creator couldn't finish the 1/4-cup pint — going up would be a stretch.

Storage and nutrition
Storage: Keep the base frozen until processing. Once spun + finished, eat after the final Respin for the intended texture — protein Creami doesn't refreeze cleanly with mix-ins.
Reheat: N/A — serve immediately after Respin + topping. CocoRoll crunch is best in the first 2-3 minutes; softens as the Creami sits. If you can't finish the pint, refrigerate the second half in a shallow container rather than refreezing.
Lasts: Frozen pint (pre-spin) keeps 1 week. Spun Creami with CocoRolls doesn't refreeze well — the caramel goes tacky and the coconut crunch softens.
