First sip: chocolate swirl picks up off the cup interior, then coffee. Middle sips: powdered peanut butter carries peanut flavor through the drink without the fat load. Finish: sugar-free whipped cream + half a chopped Reese's Thin delivers dessert-drink identity. Not chalky, not clumpy — whey dissolves into the hot concentrate before ice + milk go in.

Method
- 1LINE THE CUP
Drizzle 1 tbsp sugar-free chocolate syrup around the INSIDE of a tall serving cup. Not on the bottom — spiral it around the interior wall so each sip picks up more chocolate as the drink drains.
- 2
BUILD CONCENTRATE (into the chocolate-lined cup): 1 tbsp instant coffee + 1/2 serving unflavored whey isolate + 1/2 tbsp powdered peanut butter + 2 tsp monk fruit sweetener. Powdered peanut butter (not spread) is the macro pick — peanut flavor without a fat load.
- 3ADD HOT WATER + FROTH
2 tbsp hot (not boiling) water. Submerge the frother BEFORE turning it on. Froth until completely smooth. Add the third tbsp only if the concentrate needs help moving.
- 4ADD ICE + MILK
Fill the cup with ice, then pour in 1/2 cup Fairlife fat-free ultra-filtered milk. Stir gently if you want the chocolate swirl incorporated immediately; leave it undisturbed if you want the sip-by-sip chocolate pull.
- 5FINISH + SERVE
Top with 1 tbsp sugar-free whipped cream and half a chopped or crumbled Reese's Thin. Serve immediately — whipped cream softens against the cold in 1-2 minutes.
Adult plate | Kid plate
Adult
Full recipe as written — 1 glass per adult at 160 cal / 23g protein. Adult-only because of caffeine.
Kid
Adult-only Powerup — this contains caffeine and is NOT a kid drink. Younger kids shouldn't have caffeine at all; older kids should get caffeine-free protein alternatives.
Three keys to success
- 1Blend whey into the CONCENTRATE first, before ice or milk. Proffee-series spine — carries from Ep 1.
- 2Hot (NOT boiling) water for the concentrate. Boiling denatures the whey.
- 3Submerge the frother head BEFORE turning it on. Splatter control.

Storage and nutrition
Storage: Best served immediately. The blended concentrate (before ice + milk + whipped cream + Reese's) can be refrigerated in a sealed jar for up to 24 hours — reblend briefly if it separates. Chocolate swirl + whipped cream + Reese's garnish go on AT SERVING TIME only.
Reheat: Don't — this is an iced drink. For a hot version, skip the ice and use warm (not boiling) milk over the hot concentrate. Skip the whipped cream and Reese's for a hot serve.
Lasts: Finished drink is best in the first 2-3 minutes. Whipped cream softens against the cold in 1-2 min; Reese's Thin softens from ambient moisture in ~2-3 min. Concentrate alone (no ice/milk/toppings) holds 24 hours refrigerated.
