Protein Corn Flakes

The 'this shouldn't work but somehow does' high-protein cereal. Hot Nurri + dry flakes = warm vanilla cereal milk that hits 34g protein.

Make this when

You want cereal but the math is bad — most protein cereals fail because protein milks are too thin and the flakes sludge instantly. Nurri is thick enough to survive the cereal. Warm it for 2 minutes and it becomes something different: malted vanilla milk over corn flakes. Two ingredients. 34g protein. Done.

Flavor target

Warm version: warm vanilla cereal milk with partially-crisp flakes. The Nurri tastes like the milk left at the bottom of a sweetened cereal bowl — but it's the FIRST thing you taste, not the last. Cold version: standard cereal, but the milk doesn't water out the flavor.

Ingredients

Method

  1. 1

WARM THE NURRI (the hot version — your default): Pour the entire Nurri can into a microwave-safe bowl or mug. Microwave 2 minutes. It comes out hot but not boiling — almost like steamed milk.

  2. 2
    PORTION THE FLAKES

2 oz of Kellogg's Corn Flakes into a separate bowl. Eyeball it at about 1.5 cups — measuring matters less here than for most cereals.

  3. 3
    POUR + EAT IMMEDIATELY

Pour the hot Nurri over the flakes. Eat in the next 90 seconds — you want the flakes partially crisp, not fully soggy. The window matters.

  4. 4
    ALTERNATE (COLD VERSION)

Skip the microwave. Pour Nurri straight from the can over the flakes. Standard cereal experience, just with thick protein milk instead of thin almond milk that waters out the flavor.

Full recipe as written. Hot version is the move — microwave the Nurri 2 minutes, pour over flakes, eat while partially crisp.

Kids prefer cold — pour Nurri straight from the can over the flakes. Same macros, less risk of an overheated-bowl meltdown.
