Salted Caramel Pretzel Iced Proffee
Proffee Episode 3 — Ep 1's concentrate technique with a Snyder's pretzel + Skinny Syrups salted caramel rim, LorAnn caramel emulsion in the concentrate, and Reddi-wip Zero Sugar on top. 140 cal / 21g protein per glass, 5-minute build.
You want Ep 1's concentrate-first iced protein coffee dressed up with a salted-caramel-pretzel rim without stacking calories. 140 cal / 21g protein per glass — 40 cal more than Ep 1's base build for the rim + emulsion + topping. Ep 3 of Proffee. Same 5-minute build, same technique spine.

First sip: salted-caramel-pretzel rim hits before the coffee — sweet, salty, crunchy. Middle sips: LorAnn caramel emulsion carries caramel through the drink at zero calories. Finish: Reddi-wip Zero Sugar softens against the cold with a second pretzel crumble on top for texture contrast. Not chalky, not clumpy — whey dissolves into the concentrate before ice + milk go in.

ASSEMBLY
FINISH (post-pour)
Method
- 1CRUSH + DIVIDE PRETZELS
0.25 oz Snyder's mini pretzels crushed into small pieces. Reserve part for the finish; the rest goes on the rim.
- 2RIM THE EMPTY GLASS
Pour a shallow layer of Skinny Syrups salted caramel into a small bowl. Dip the rim of the tall serving glass in the caramel, then press it into the crushed pretzels. Rim the glass empty so caramel doesn't run down a full drink.
- 3
BUILD CONCENTRATE (into the rimmed glass, keep rim undisturbed): 1/2 tbsp instant coffee + 1/2 serving unflavored whey isolate + 2 tsp monk fruit + 1/2 tsp LorAnn caramel emulsion.
- 4ADD HOT WATER + BLEND
2 tbsp hot (not boiling) water. Submerge the immersion-blender head BEFORE turning it on. Blend smooth. Add the third tbsp only if the concentrate needs help moving.
- 5ADD ICE + MILK
Ice to the level you want, then 1/2 cup Fairlife fat-free ultra-filtered milk over the ice. Stir gently — don't disturb the pretzel rim.
- 6FINISH + SERVE
1 tbsp Reddi-wip Zero Sugar on top, drizzle with Skinny Syrups salted caramel, garnish with the reserved pretzel pieces. Stir and serve immediately.
Adult plate | Kid plate
Adult
Full recipe as written — 1 glass per adult at 140 cal / 21g protein. Adult-only because of caffeine.
Kid
Adult-only Powerup — this contains caffeine and is NOT a kid drink. Younger kids shouldn't have caffeine at all; older kids should get caffeine-free protein alternatives.
Three keys to success
- 1Rim the glass EMPTY. Caramel runs on a full glass and drips down the outside.
- 2Blend whey into the CONCENTRATE first, before ice or milk. Same rule as Ep 1 + 2 — clumps set in cold liquid.
- 3Hot (NOT boiling) water for the concentrate. Boiling denatures the whey.

Storage and nutrition
Storage: Best served immediately. The blended concentrate (before ice + milk + rim + toppings) can be refrigerated in a sealed jar for up to 24 hours — reblend briefly if it separates. Pretzel rim + whipped topping + drizzle go on AT SERVING TIME only.
Reheat: Don't — this is an iced drink. For a hot version, skip the ice and use warm (not boiling) milk over the hot concentrate. Skip the whipped topping and rim for a hot serve.
Lasts: Finished drink is best in the first 2-3 minutes. Whipped topping softens against the cold in 1-2 min; pretzel rim gets soft with ambient humidity in ~5 min. Concentrate alone (no ice/milk/toppings) holds 24 hours refrigerated.
