Method
- 1SET UP
Line up 4 divided snack boxes (any brand with 3-4 compartments — the pastel Bento-style boxes shown work great).
- 2TURKEY PEPPERONI
Add 3/4 to 1 serving of turkey pepperoni to one compartment of each box. Kid appetite determines the exact count — small kids get ~5-6 slices, bigger kids get the full serving.
- 3CHEESE STICK CUBES
Cube 1 cheese stick per box (Sargento Colby-Jack shown — mozzarella, sharp cheddar, or Monterey Jack also work). Add cubes to the next compartment.
- 4THIN CRISPS
Add 1/2 serving Triscuit Thin Crisps per box for the crackly pizza-crust texture. Any small savory cracker works if Triscuits aren't available.
- 5CUCUMBER TO FILL
Slice or chop cucumber and pack it into the remaining space in each box. Fresh crunch balances the salty savory side.
- 6LID + CHILL
Snap lids on, refrigerate until snack time. Serve cold. If serving at home, marinara on the side for dipping — keep it OUT of the packed box to avoid soggy crackers + messy cleanup.
Storage and nutrition
Storage: Refrigerate covered snack boxes.
Reheat: Don't — serve cold. That's the whole snack-box format.
Lasts: Best within 2 days. Cucumber softens + Triscuits start to soften from ambient moisture past that point.
